The fenders are the way to go, a lot more heavy duty! I used one long 1/2 line (about 40') and looped it though the eye again.

I might do that too. Just thought if i hooked one line through all the fenders, there might be some sagging there with the weight of the fenders. I guess i will find out soon enough! Thanks for the input!
