jnizi - Absolutely beautiful boat, congrats and many long voyages!!

Cougar - Only options that we did not have off the list was a bow thruster, transom remote (dealer looking into adding), and the forward private cabin. As stated, there is no auto pilot offered with the I/O's

I was a little curious about the EVC controls...I tested while standing at the helm and they are easily reachable, but think it would have been better near the engine controls.

I've hijacked this thread enough, but will probably start another one regarding the EVC features, just don't know that much about the whole package at this time and would love to hear more.

I just looked back to the origin of this thread...

So, for all you 318 and 358 owners, why did you choose the one up/one down from the 338?
And, for all the 338 owners out there, I'd love to hear your comments on this boat.

jerry540i - you still out there? Have you made any progress with your decision?

Now back to JoeBalt's V358... and Cougar, to answer one question for JoeBalt, autopilot is not offered on the V358 with i/o's (which is a shame because I have never enjoyed it more than on the Long Island Sound where he presumably does most of his boating).

Still here!!

I haven't pulled the trigger yet...
