True that's why all these drive systems are still being sold...each one of them is good for some group of customers....the one point I am making is that for people who leave their boats in the water...and want a smaller boat...and don't want an IO or high tech/priced OB...the straight inboard is very appealing....and the gas savings of the I/O...at least here...is offset by the greatly increased maintenace of stern drives in salt water....

Ooops, forgot about that. I guess I should post a notification when I send a PM to someone, so I can remember I did it, and all can see that I sent you a PM. Next time I send you a PM, I'll post on the thread I sent you one, since that seems to be the MO on this board.

Any updates on whatever boat(s) you are working on ? Kinda hard to keep track as you have been jumping from boat to boat like a drunken sailor.

Yes. Everything but an arch, which wasn't even a factor. I like the looks, but the added height could be a problem.

As nice as an arch is, on the water .... if you're trailering, you are better off without one.

Nice Ride ...... !!!!

:P

KS, did you slip your 268 at Hartshorn in Muskegon ? I saw a 268 (that looked very nice) across from our boat at the marina over the 4th. It looked like your boat in the pictures.
We were there for 10 days on our boat for the Summer Celebration.

Hey, that would be us. Had a great time in Muskegon. Should have stopped by and said hello. We get up to Muskegon a few times a year. Keith.

That is great, we were pretty busy with relatives in town, and attended 9 of 11 concerts, so we were at the marina mostly late at night. I'm sure you heard us a few times. Many 4:00 a.m. nights. We were directly across from you, and had the white tent set up on the grass behind our boat.
Send me a PM next time you visit, our boat is slipped there, so we are there every weekend.

Glad you had a good time. And your boat did look like new. Very Nice.
