I like the underwater lights. Do they attract the small fish at night? Kids are 6 and 8 and i think they would get a kick out of that.

I get a crap load of fish, crabs, and other sea creatures behind my boat, but I boat in a salt water bay
I leave my lights on all night while I sleep also and no battery drain at all

Well I finally got to try her out on Sunday. Started off great, idled away from dock never missed a beat. Started to Take off and it backfired under load. I was ready to sink the damn boat and call the insurance. I got on this amazing forum and searched for 5.7 backfiring under load, figured out I needed to bleed the gas line I it was all better. Thanks to everyone on the board but especially jafo4u was I think screenname.

Congratulations on getting her back together. Nice work and very fast. I fix every thing on my boat, but I don't think I would pull an engine. Dan

You helped me diagnose where the leak was, Dan. I was a little intimidated by the motor pull, but I wasnt about to drop 2 or 3k into a boat I just bought. I was really surprised at how easy the motor pull was. Maybe I just got really lucky that it all went right back together. I just marked stuff as I went and took photos before I took things apart as to how they were routed. I think the exhaust boots were the hardest part. Anyone can do anything if they set their mind to it......especially with google and ifourwinns.com
