Since last Thursday....... The same article was also on Czech and Polish websites 10 days ago, but a bit difficult to

Missed that. Guess I've been too focused elsewhere at the moment.

But I digress...

No problem, I'm sure not everyone has seen it yet. Plus, you have a new boat in the works to keep you busy.

And so are the guys on thehulltruth.com
http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-for ... rtion.html

I still like the layout and any cruiser 30' or less, looks like a guppy while on plane.

While at rest, she looks more like a sports car.

Either that dude is small or the v-berth is a lot bigger than it appears in the pictures. The space down below is huge for a 30 footer (or 27' if you knock off the swim platform).

Yep, that and clever camera work. Never ceases to amaze me how they can take pictures inside of a boat and have them look so good. I don't have audio on this particular machine, so I have no idea what was being said.

Note they've really pushed the interior right out the hull. No cabinetry or anything else, just a slim pleather-covered bit of foam. Great for looks but that's about it. Still, on a small boat that's making excellent use of the limited space.

Not sure I'd trust that flip-up shelf as part of the forward berth. I'd hate to be 'getting festive' up there and have that hinge or support fail.

I do like the fender lockers up on the bow. Nice use of an otherwise dead space. Same thing with the transom lockers. Still hate the grill location.

That and all the sharp square edges everywhere. Apparently the 'european' audience doesn't mind getting bruised kidneys.

I'm getting used to it, they used the same HVAC vents that broke on my 258. Looking at the stove outside, whats to keep a pot from sliding off the boat?

The newer stoves have "Pups"

Press down on them and they pop up to help hold the pans in place.

Ok, I'm sorry but I just saw the new 305 at the Toronto show and it is, hands down, the ugliest cruiser I've ever seen.... not to mention cheap looking. From the massive windscreen to the dinette seat 'flip up' back cushion which makes the v-birth bed long enough so that a 5'-6" tall person can lie down without their legs hanging over the end.
IMHO, they have really blown it and if their intent is to make many of these so called 'innovative' features standard on all future Vista's (which is what I was told)... my next boat won't be a Four Winns.
What happened to the beautiful, flowing classy lines of the Vista???
GONE... replaced by square angular corners on the hull, upholstery, swim platform and just about every other surface. What the hell were they thinking when they envisioned this!
RIP Four Winns design team.... RIP.

Sorry for the rant.

Signed,
Former FW style fan.
