I took out a new 318 for a sea trial the other day. When I was sitting in the rear I was getting wet. Does anyone who owns this model have a problem with this?

Running with 1-3' at about 27kts on Lake MI (Green Bay) I have not heard any yelling from behind so I assume there was no noticable spray. Running into the same the ride is dry but rough unless you really push the bow down. At about 22 kts the ride smooths out.
Have not had it out in anything beyond 3' nor with a significant quartering wind.

Conditions were pretty calm. Afterwards, they said it was the top. The side curtains were on. This created a tunnel effect. The spray was pulled into boat with asuction effect.

Has been pretty rare for me or any of my passangers to get wet at all, even in some snotty conditions...If I've come off a wave and came close to dipping the anchor then I've gotten a good spray, but overall this boat is very dry!

The only time I got wet on our 318 is when we had 2 -3 ft seas with a 15-20kt wind coming from the starboard side. Just slowed the boat down and trimmed down the bow some and this took care of most of it. You could get wet on any curiser under those conditions. Overall very dry boat.

Interesting they mentioned that. I've felt light spray in my 278 but only with the side curtains up as well. We leave them up so there is less to stow.
