Top speed seems a little low with twin 5.0's doesn't it? Does anyone know which company all the good Four Winns designers are at now?

Being in the V berth with someone in the lower forward berth would make for an interesting middle of the night head trip.

Not sure where the former designer's were kicked to when Mr. Lavigne came to Four Winns from Doral. I wonder if this was written by marketing people without even showing it to the design staff.

At Four Winns, we do a lot of homework and spend a lot of time researching boaters' needs. Sounds tough. But, in boating, research can be fun. It means we take our products on the water; use them ourselves, a lot. That's a start, because we see what works and what doesn't in real terms.

We talk to other boaters, Four Winns owners and owners of other brands as well. We want to understand what boaters want and what they truly value in their boats' features. That's why Four Winns leads the industry with so many advanced and innovative features.

Yeah that definitely sounds like something straight out of the corporate new hire packet!

Does seem maybe a little slow for WOT. Our old 282 with V6's hit 42mph at WOT (GPS) on perfect conditions. And I think the 288 Vista with same V6 engines did about 43 mph too.

No, it's not the 305V but it does have the large cabin windows and the outside galley.

Several of the new Sea Ray cruisers have added the large windows recently( 410DA,500DA 470DA,610DA). Including the 355 Sundancer in the above pics.
And of course the all new outboard powered 370 Venture.

The large windows and cockpit galley have been popular on european cruisers for at least 10 years. Just takes US builders about that long to catch up, or for US buyers' tastes to accept the idea's.

That's funny I'm over in Europe about 4 times a month and they seem to be still listening to 80s music and just catching up on the fast food craze.

They also don't believe in ice cubes or air conditioning and love micro sizing everything cuz its so darn expensive over there.

I for one like the "older" style boats than the new "euro" style. And I hope it never "catches on" over here.

I do however like te sea ray cruiser370 outboard as long as they keep it "American" style.

I think think I said months ago that if you look up ugly in Websters it says see V305. The Venture on the other hand is a great concept.

I agree with you completely, the V305 is butt ugly, and I seriously hate it! I'm very intriqued and interested in the Venture concept.

I just think it is funny how the 305V was the ugly topic of many forums a year or two ago and now most US builders have introduced similar styles. Tom Gores is no dummy and was ahead of the game by being one of the first to tap into the European market. He obviously knows Americans are about to enter a time of having less discretionary income due to the $16,000,000,000,000 debt our government has saddled us with.
