Our 348 has an electrically driven helm seat, but it's a bit too low for my taste. I'm 6'4" and if I sit in the seat the windshield is right in my line of sight. Using the stand-up position, with the bolster flipped up, makes for a rather tiring day at the helm. Not to mention likely to wear out that bolster.

So does anyone make some sort of lift or something that I could use to replace/augment the existing seat slides?

BIll, the item I've seen used most...throwable PFD...not classy but evidently functional.
