Other than a great place to mount things you pretty much summed it up. As you know from talking on another post an arch can limit you indoor storage options if you don't want to take it down. Since I know you're looking at 268's I will say that on a factory trailer there is only a 1' 7" difference in height between a 268 with an arch an one without. Per factory specs total height on trailer with arch= 12'6"(3.81m)....total height on trailer without arch=10'9"(3.28m).
