I recognize that it looks sharp - and i would think adds to the support/ stability of the top when up when cruising - what else is the value of this option? |

I installed an after market one. I will not have a boat with out one. I installed my VHF ant., the anchor light (no more yelling, honey grab.....) deck lights, hailer, and of course the radar dome. Almost forgot, it has 4 rod holders on it for my poles. |

Looking at the installations on my radar arch, I wonder how I would manage without one. The wiring is all hidden and protected and additional wiring is fairly easy to run. ![]() |

Other than a great place to mount things you pretty much summed it up. As you know from talking on another post an arch can limit you indoor storage options if you don't want to take it down. Since I know you're looking at 268's I will say that on a factory trailer there is only a 1' 7" difference in height between a 268 with an arch an one without. Per factory specs total height on trailer with arch= 12'6"(3.81m)....total height on trailer without arch=10'9"(3.28m). ' |
