1999 Vista 258--Volvo Penta 5.7 GSI--aftermarket spark plugs--any suggestions. I was told to use NGK TR5 standard or TR55IX Iridiums. Danson |

Iridium. Put anti seize on the threads. You'll never change them again. |

Why not just use the delco plugs or the champion it calls for? |

The copper based plugs got replaced by the iridium plugs (for obvious reasons). That's not even a part cross reference, that's straight out of the Volvo/Mercruiser parts catalog. It was a General Motors decision. |
