We have a 2001 298 and would like to replace the screens in the cabin windows.

Looking for info on how it is done...whether the screens are framed or just fitted in.

Thanks.
Steve

The screens are bonded to an oval shaped plastic part and held in with a rubber gasket - remove the rubber gasket and they come out. A couple of our gaskets came off during some rough rides and the screens are on the bottom of Lake Ontario. I'm going to try to source them through Taylor Marine (http://www.taylormarine.com/) (I've gotten other port light parts from them). These are off our 328, which should be the same:

I got a price for these - $39 each! Needless to say I'm going to see if I can't make my own, just need to figure out where I can get thin plastic (1-1.5mm thick) to cut out.

Ouch. I was thinking the same...either re-screening the frames we have, or somehow making a replacement. Where did you find the screens?
