Well, after we launch our 328 in the spring we at our first opportunity take the mooring cover off and put the complete camper top up. The camper top stays up for the duration of our boating season until we are ready to be lifted back out and winterized at which time the mooring cover goes back on and our camper top gets cleaned and then gets to live under our ping pong table for the winter months.
Now to answer your question, if I was keeping our camper top on our 328 without having it up, I would roll it up and store it under the rear aft seat above the engine compartment.
We arrive at our boat sometimes late Friday evenings rain or shine and prefer to simply have our camper top up full time.
Mike.
Well, if I had a Ski locker, that might work.. One of the very small frustrating parts of this boat for us (but not enough to keep us from buying it), is the lack of cockpit storage space. We don't have storage at all under the back "U" shaped seating, it's just open, and yea, we could store it under those seats, but, it to me, would be a bit messy looking over time.. We have a covered slip, so leaving it up all the time, isn't necessary, and in the heat of the summer, leaving it up all the time while out would be unbearably hot in the cockpit.. Was thinking of trying out the outer "wings" of the small storage/access area under the aft bed, but there it might be a little humid with the A/C and gen intake in the center of that area (would put it in the center part where the intakes are actually located), and that could be a concern if I could get it all to fit there anyway..
