So I got her clean now....and it's time to make some small repairs/replacements. Little things that irrate me everytime. Problem is I can't get all the things from one place so this is my short list.

1. The vents have to be replaced...the plastic is ugly and it's gone. The problem is I am not sure which ones to buy? I know from this thread
http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10789

that I want these chrome ones, but are all three of mine the same vent?

2. Cupholders, this ones easy. found them here:https://www.marineeast.com/a_sch/sch_det.asp?cid=11&pid=11_01

but is the 4099w mine?

3. In this pic you can see the white plastic "stay" these are to attach the morring cover on the aft. I need the straps that attach to these which I think are; http://www.sailrite.com/Shock-Cord-Cover-Clip-White is that right?

4. In the same image above the white plastic cover for the fresh water inlet will not stay on...where do I even look??

So here is the question...

The vents are $29.99/ea I need three ( if these are even right?) anywhere to find them less exspensive?

the cupholder $1.75 each + Shipping

The shock cords are $1.99/ea. I need four

Is there anywhere to get all this stuff at once? Maybe save a bit on shipping?

Sorry for all the questions,

Thanks

Chris,

Regarding the "Chrome" vents that you mention....just an FYI.......the good news is....they are not chrome......they are stainless........stainless is way better than chrome in a marine environment......Chrome pits and looks nasty in a few years.....Stainless will look that way 30 years from now.....

As far as if all three of yours are the same........you will need to access the back of the vent as there is a hose clamp that has to be loosened then the hose has to be removed.......I suggest you do a little exploratory surgery on her and see if A. you can even access the back of the fittings and B. what configuration they are.........no sense in ordering the wrong item......

I will tell you also, if you go with the Stainless ones.......you will need to enlarge the hole in the fiberglass........just make sure you are comfortable doing this before you even start......I used a Roto-zip tool........it cuts fiberglass like butta!

If you don't feel comfortable enlarging the hole...........wait till you come over to So-Cal to do a Catalina Island run and I'll help you......

P.S................right now Iboats is showing those Stainless vents at a Sale Price of: $20.05..........that is a great price......I paid full pop!

As far as your cracked cupholders, I replaced mine with stainless as well, sick of replacing the plastic ones. I got mine at the local FW dealer Twin city

I found the same issue with the water hose connection on my '02 268. I previously just pushed the cap in to place, which did not work. I found that holding the cap while turning the female hose connection worked for me. A stainless connection would look better, though...

Here's a water hose connection:

Not sure if the holes would line up but it looks similar..

As for the hose connection cap....couldn't you put some ridges of superglue or something on the cap and let it dry....I would think it just needs to be a smidge bigger.....try a piece of tape first to see if it works.
