Got to the boat this weekend to find our cabin fridge, freezer all iced up. Almost 1" thick in spots. It's been two weeks since we've been at the boat, and all I can see wrong with it is the lower left door gasket isn't sealing fully. Has anyone replaced that?

I'm also going to add the little locking arm to the bottom like the top has. That should help. Any other reason why the freezer would ice up?

Almost forgot, does anyone know the make and model of the cabin fridge?

Most likely a norcold.

The cabin fridge might be different in the 2008 318V but my 2000 298V has a Nova Kool Model R3800.

Same as the 318 it's a NovaKool R3803. NovaKool will sell parts direct. Door gasket is on its way.

Amazing that Four Winns uses the same make/model but as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" (knock on wood).

A bad door gasket will cause that for . The fridge may keep running which will pull the refrigerant temp down which will freeze the coil up and also if it was or also if the fridge was set too low on the thermostat it may freeze up aswell
