Well the restorations have begun, I wondering if anyone know the size of the snaps on the Canvas top? I am having the front three windows replaced by a local upholsterer, and he requested that I bring the fasteners to him.... $350 to recondition that front piece ? Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thanks! Henry |

They are the same size as a Jean snap any local fabric shop should sell a kit Best Shuman 2000 268 vista |

If the upholsterer wants the fasteners taken to him, does he mean new ones or the half that's screwed to the boat/window frame? West Marine and other sources I have looked at only stock one size. |

$350 to "recondition" your front windows sounds steep to me...I just ordered all three front panels from Great Lakes Boat Tops this spring for my 268 and even with shipping it was less than $400 for brand new stuff....plus they sent me a whole baggie of new snaps included. |

The most common snaps used are 15mm or 5/8 size. |
