I would like to move from my single engine 268 to twin motors on a 288 Vista.
I do not really have the need for additional cabin room but interested in a little more room on the back seating area and two motors.
Does anyone have any idea how much additional room there is on the back seating area on the 288 vs. the 268?
Thanks

I have a 258 Vista and I looked at this myself because I would like something with a little more cockpit space as well without the need for a much bigger cabin. I have never seen a 288 in person, but from what I've seen online .. for the amount you're going to spend for the upgrade, you aren't really going to get more cockpit space .. it seems to be mostly (not all, but mostly) an increase in cabin space.

You may have to look at a different style of boat, like the Formula Super Sport 280, which has a decent cabin up front, and much more cockpit space (at least it looks that way in pictures). It also has twin engines (at least the ones I've seen), which is actually the reason I have decided to stay with my current boat for the near future ... I really don't want the additional maintanance costs of twin stern drives at this point in time.

I moved from a 268 to the 288.
The usable space gained, both above and below deck, is night & day.
You really have to step into one and take a look for yourself.
And the twin screws are a joy to operate and maneuver in tight spaces.

Thanks NiagaraChillen. I was too modest to link that myself
Didn't want to appear too self serving.
