Hi, Kohler 5000w When I start it without load it works fine. 1-2-3-4-10mins run. no issue. Once I put on my Gene breaker the coolant overflow bottle start bowl and it stop with HE error on my panel. ( HE = Heat coolant. The impeller has been changed. i changed the thermostat cap with an other boat , and same problem. Only 40hours. Problem occurred only on load. any idea what it could be ?

Lack of cooling water flowing through the heat exchanger. |

Might be air lock. Is there a vent nut on top of the heat exchanger that you can let the air out of? My Kohler 5E is a 2000 model and they didn't come with them so had to drill one and tap it. http://www.boatered.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=102691 ETA: Based on your picture, it does appear you have a vent nut. |
