Hello all,

Looking to buy a 99 328 Vista, fresh water with 5.7 Volvo DPS. Mid 40k, always in freshwater with one owner. Everything looks clean just concerned that it has over 700 hours but owner says he has all service records from the dealer he bought the boat.

Any thoughts on price and mechanical issues? Also what are same owners experiencing with respect to fuel burn rates and planing issues. I am looking to get up on plane at relatively low RPMs and to cruise efficiently?

Any help would be appreciated

My boat is pushing 600 hrs. I don't think the hours are a big concern. With that being said do your due diligence and have a mechanical inspection done for peace of mind. I have the 5.7gxi in mine and can get on plane at just around 3200 rpm with no issues. Fuel burn isn't too bad just depends on how you drive her

700 hours is perfect. If it had 300 you'd be doing more repairs than not.
