Hi

I installed this:
http://www.nasamarine.com/proddetail.ph ... -1_Battery

Mounted it next to fuse panel by drivers feet (this is on a 258 vista 2006).

Really excellent to monitor usage and current status. I only have it connected to monitor the service batteries, I never ever connect starter and service and always charge both when running, so starter is always 100% so no need to monitor it.

/Mike

I installed this one, http://www.impactbattery.com/dual-pro-b ... OgodWUoA6A

Not as good looking as the above post, but a lot cheaper and it works.

Had to laugh at the comparison to the brick phone and smart phone. I don't think I ever dropped a call on the original brick phone from Motorola.

So if you have a two battery system where do you hook this up? I assume to the hot post on the switch so it would read whichever battery you have turned on right? If both are turned on does it cause a prob or does is give overall power level.

I have one that will read up to 3 batts, or in my case both batts and the alt (see p1 of "Walt's Mods" for more details and pic). However, I was not able to find one listed on line when searching this morning. I believe it was around $50 at Cabela's.

I got this one...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CBMX02/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works very nice on my two battery setup. One could get two of them for a triple monitor, I suppose.
