What do you think is the best color for fender covers? I have a white boat with green custom canvas but the fender covers from Overton's come in grey, tan, blue and black. I'm considering black but didn't know if anyone had any opinions on staining/cleaning/wear.

Thanks!

Black fenders look hideous. White fenders with no covers. Takes less than 30 seconds to make them look new again when they get dirty.

I kinda like the black with your set up.

As for bare fenders and a quick cleaning as mentioned, that all depends on what water you'll be mooring in and for how long.

We have an all white hull and a black camper top. We have about 6 large black fenders in total. If I was purchasing new fenders again I'd still likely purchase black. White would be my next color choice.

Mike.

boat-fender-covers.com has green ones not sure if they have them in the size you are looking for.

Taylor Made makes them in 10 colors including green.....I found some red ones to match my boat at bass pro shop. West Marine sells Taylor Made.

Also ran across red colored dock lines....I only use them to dock briefly at marina or launch. I wipe them down after use and stow them.....have had them since prior boat....about 6 or 7 years and they still look new

I would die for those rear facing seats. I can see those being the most sought after seats on the boat (when stopped of course)

I agree, We really enjoyed our new rear facing seat this past summer.......it was the best seat on the boat........

My friends don't like to tie up with boats without fender covers because of the noise and the wear on gel coat/wax. We will tie up over night a few times a season too. So I'm definitely going to get them. I just wasn't sure on sun fading or lake algae.

I use white fenders against my dock where my boat is tied to. Current boat has been there almost a year, in the rare case it does rub a fender there's no marks on the boat.

There is definitely less wear with the fender covers.

Looks like you need to go out more, you're REALLY pale in that picture!
