Saw this on my local craigslist. I think it's a 258 based on the pictures (because of the sink in the head, right?)

And oh boy I wouldn't tow that boat with an avalanche!

Looks like the 258 I almost purchased. It was the same year but repowered with a 2008 8.1l DP for 16k out the door.

I think they added the sink in the later 238s.

Thanks Johnny, but no I am very happy with my 238...not ready to let her go. But I always have people asking where they can find one, most are amazed that mines a 1996 (although I can certainly tell, fabric in cabin has to go soon!) I have only seen a few others around and one of them is on this board.

I just watch CL all the time, I have a sickness really...boat porn! HeHe

looks like a 238 next to that Chevy. a 258 would make the chevy look a lot smaller

I like the rack he added to the underside on the rear seat

That's true.

I Liked that too, but after I thought about it...I wondered what one would store there? It's a bit long and flat. Ski's maybe?

PFD'S

The wire allows the water to drip out of them.

It says "1999 Four Winns Vista 238" in the add. Maybe he changed it since you viewed. It does looks like a shorter bow than a 258 if you compare pics side by side.
Both nice boats.
