The Atwood Water Heater on my 378 works, but the water when on 240 volts is only barley luke warm, even after running for 8 hours.

When running water heater alone on genset, I can hear the load on the gennie click out after about 10 minutes, so as per comments in a previous post, it seems the terminal cutout switch is faulty.

Does anyone know how to best gain access to the Port side of the water heater, where the terminal panel is located? I've been able to open the terminal cover on the Atwood from above, but even with the large engine bay hatch open, I can't see how to get past the exhaust pipes to access the thermostat or other sensors.

The only idea I had was maybe to remove the PIN on the large engine hatch jackscrew, I wonder if that might allow the hatch to open just a little bit higher, then I could get down in the rudder area ?
