 So any feed back on a led multiple light drain plug replacement kit seems like a great way to light up without drilling a hole

Ebay has a ton for sale about $ 50 Any shops in Canada sell these units

I have installed one on my boat. It has 6 LED bulbs inside a glass enclosure (don't know the brand right now) I went with the white light so the kids can see the fish. I tried the blue but I felt the white was brighter. At first I installed in the original plug but after time from pulling the plug the wire broke so I went ahead and installed the light w a new drain plug assembly above my original drain plug. I then had the switch installed behind the transom shower door.

Yes saltlife I have pics. When I see LVChris at the lake I will have him help me post some pics because I am having some issues w that at the moment. The price went down in the $200 range. I know there are cheaper ones but this particular light is the same as a boat plug assembly. I felt it would last longer being based on a boat plug. But look at the ones on iboat.com and they have lights that mount on your trim tabs. The cool factor is you can raise and lower the lights via trim switch!

Hey saltlife I found the brand name of the LED light. It's called Liquid Lite and you can find it on Amazon for $113.00.

UPDATE 04/07/14 - I heard BUYER BEWARE on Amazon and EBay. Buy directly from website or licensed dealer only.

Take a look in the electrical forum regarding LED drain lights.
