Hey guys do any of you know where i might be able to find a part number for the engine hatch on a 2000 268 vista? Mine has a soft spot and i want to compare prices as to replace vs repair. Ive looked on FW site but was unable to find anything. Thanks |

I had one replaced on my 248 last season. What a goat rope. Do a search and you should easily find the thread. |

Thanks Taz, i found it! Now to see if it is more cost effective to repair or replace. Where in S NJ do you boat? You pic looks like Harbor Cove in Sommers Point. |

Ocean City. Right over the 34th Street bridge. Was thinking of moving to Harbor Cove but the marina was sold last fall and the new owners are tending to things that have been in need of repair for a while. |

Great area. I grew up there. Spent my summers at my parents place at 41st and Asbury and kept my first boat at Claytons Marina on the Patcong creek. |

My gut tells me it'll be much cheaper to replace than repair, but be sure to seal up that table mount hole good. What are you going with? |
