Hello, I just purchased a 1999 328 Vista. Does anyone know where to get custom sheets for the forward berth? Allso, can someone provide good measurements for the mattress? Thank you Chuck |

Welcome aboard to the Vista club, lots of 328 owners around. We just use king size sheets and tuck the extra under |

Chuck, I'll second acguy in welcoming you to the iFourWinns forum. My wife uses a deep pocket fitted queen size sheet for the bed sheet covering our V-Berth mattress and a regular queen size sheet for our first cover. Chris (my wife) says it works fine, a little more work making up the bed when changing sheets but not bad. Where are you planning on keeping your 328? Mike. |

I have to agree with the queen sheets, they work fine. That said, I'm planning on replacing the mattress this year and will add some stitching to customize the sheets. The cushions on the v-berth are quite thin and your hips tend to rest on the wood below so something thicker is in order. |

Friends of our had one made in Toronto for roughly $450. Have you got any prices yet? |

Memory foam makes that mattress very comfy, wife just got a new one for the boat, 3" seems to work the best, $100 on overstock.com. We cut the foam to fit the v berth, we even make it a bit larger to increase the area. |

I'm still not sure if I want coil spring or foam, seems like foam would be a lot less expensive. Friends of ours in the marina were getting a new mattress this spring, I may wait and try that out to see the comfort level. I like the idea of trying the 3-4" Overstock.com idea, at least it's not a lot of money to test. If anyone finds a solution they love, let us know. |

I already have a topper on our but it needs to be replaced. I think I will just replace it. Our friends really like there mattress. It is the full depth of the forward berth. It is a foam mattress. I think you will find a pocket coil mattress will be extremely expensive |

Our '04 came with an inner-spring mattress on the V-berth; personally, I'd prefer to have a memory foam over the top of that, but the hubs is fine with it as is. |

We use a memory foam as well. Works perfect. We also use King size sheets on the bed and they work fine. Not ideal, but a heck of a lot cheaper than custom sheets. |
