So, we developed an issue last year where I was not getting any charge from the alternators. Checked both alternators with a meter, and both are working great, so started tracing wires, and came to a small box, mounted on the back of the starboard fuel tank, right below the battery charger, that both positive wires from the alternators run too, which contained two push button breakers (unable to view their amps or mount because it's in a small black housing, tucked behind a battery, so I'll have to pull a battery to get any good access to it. Both breakers were popped, and one I was able to reset, the other, with no power coming from anywhere, and the engines not running, will not reset. I suspect salty air/environment she was previously in, has caused this issue, and am looking to replace both breakers, however, Fourwinns doesn't list that breaker that I can tell (although I have one suspect in the parts list), but does show the housing. The suspect item in the parts list is a 70amp breaker, but it's listed no where near the housing, so I'm not sure it's the one. Anyone else familiar with this setup, and have a part number?

Thanks! Yea, I believe that's the part I have on mine as well.. Just not 100% positive that's it, although, I can't think of anything else that would need a 70amp breaker.. :D

What is more important, is the amp rating. You can always use another type of breaker as long as it is ignition proof.

It was probably just defective. In salt water environments things don't self destruct as quick as people think unless there is salt water dripping or spraying on it.
I've replaced a starter (old age) and a solenoid (tiny drop of salt water from the ex mani drain right above it) but the alternator, distributor and ESA module are all original. Boat is on a salt water mooring 6/months/year for the 12 years I have had it.
