Cheers all.......just want to say thanks to everyone who has been giving suggestions for my questions...........finish generator after all your feedback and did all of the maintenance tips and she is running like a charm...........now on to the next question (damn wish it wasn't so)...try to start the water system ...did what owners manual said to prime system...water started to come out from taps and then it stopped completely.....pump sounds like it is running (it is on) but the water stopped running from all taps (top side, bathroom, and down in main sink)... I filled water tank before all of this so it is not a water supply issue .....so I am befuddled why this would happen..........any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated......... ![]() ![]() |

Repeat what you've done but this time remove the fill cap. If this corrects your issue, you have a vent problem. |

There is a shutoff valve about a foot from the water pump on the suction side (more like an isolation valve), make sure it's open. |

Also check the filter on the water pump to ensure it's not completely clogged. |

All good points above! I had the same problem or close to it. But your not saying that you checked the tank itself, so. I THOUGHT the water tank was full. When I looked at it was almost empty. We would run out of water so I would flll it. Two showers later, no water. Checked the tank and it was empty. Refulled it and same problem. In my case, the vent is built into the full so the tank would not vent out all the way. I thought the tank was full because the water poured out of the full as if it was. I had to add its own vent on the side of the boat, problem resolved. |

I would check the shut off valve that will be on one of the hoses coming out of the pump. Do you have a city water hook up on the transom? I just had this issue and I plugged into the city water hook up and the water started flowing nicely. I at least knew I didn't have to worry about the pump. I found what looked like a valve and turned that and the water started flowing without being hooked up to the city water. |
