2003 268 Vista Cruiser with 5.7 Volvo Penta. I have to open the throttle maybe halfway or more to get it to start when it is warmed up. Any help appreciated. |

Might take a look at the IAC valve. How does it idel when cold? is it erratic at all? |

Is your engine really hitting 260? If so you have to solve that problem first. |

I am hoping that 260 is a typo, if it is could be vaperlocked. |

If your pegging out at 260 degrees, you probably have a worn impeller or stuck T-Stat issue. |
