Does anyone know the manufacturer of this faucet?

I need to replace the rubber washer on the bottom of this stem...but unfortunately it is not held in by a screw.

Leave it to a ten year old to keep cranking it off...and wonder why the cold water isn't coming on?

I don't know who made that faucet, but the setup looks the same as many bathroom valves. The Rubber washer just snaps over that post. You can get a faucet washer assortment from Home Depot or Walmart, or you can get the washer from a plumbing supply store. Just pull the old washer off, and push the new one on using a small socket or similar to help push it over the post.

I didn't try to pull it off, but that makes sense. I'm used to seeing a screw there to remove and then have it come off.

Nice! Although that won't help this leak. Does that one still have the shut off on it, and do you have a picture of how it looked against the sink?

www.defender.com has those fixtures listed... I had to replace the nozzle last year and was able to find one there. Not sure if they have just the replacement valve stem though... :(
