Sometimes the engine just dies after going to neutral from forward or reverse. An ideas as to what is causing this? I've been using fuel stabilizer and had all drive maintenance, oil change, compression check done at the start of the season. Last week she was also a little hard to start after a day of boating. Thanks for any ideas! Learning a lot about my boat!

Not sure what engine you have, but it's very possible that you have a bad Idle Air Control motor. It's a five minute job to replace it on a Mercruiser...Volvo - I dunno, I don't speak Volvo.
