Post subject:  Cleaning up while waiting for parts

Thought Id get some buffing done while waiting for parts.

This is a pic of the port side that I haven't done anything too yet other than a test so you could see what it started out as

This is the starboard side where I have buffed out below the rubber bumper

Ive still got a lot to do on the starboard side. There is still some cloudiness that I have to take care of and then to work on the top side but man does it look good compared to the other side.

Lookin good!! That's exactly what mine looked like before I got it painted.
You getting the OMC tools to do your shift cable? Let us know how it all turns out...

looks good. another week might have the port side done LOL :lol: a lot of work but its worth it

Hi LouC
I have to wait until Thursday before I can order them. I expect to get them around mon or tues. I plan on removing the drive this weekend so it will be ready

Another weeks worth of work you mean. lol. It took me what seems like forever to get that much done. Once I learned how to do it though, it did go fairly fast. The heat slowed me down a lot though. Glad its going to be cooling off below 90 soon
