No, it's not adjustable. You would have to make one yourself out of starboard. Any taller than existing cooler, and you may not be able to open it without removing it. Strap a large cooler on the swimplatform, and keep the std. cooler in the cockpit if you need more cooler space.

Exactly. One thing I like about the early 2000 model Vistas is their huge swim platforms. I have a 298V but I am almost positive that the 268's swim platforms are just as deep. This is a 94 quart Igloo marine cooler and plenty of room to walk around it.

Thanks however swim grid needs to be clear as dinghy is stored there on Davits

Re opening the lid I just remove hinges and slide lid off .

Shuman, can you post a couple pix of your davit and dinghy arrangement? I have a 268 and I just ratchet strap my dinghy on the swim platform.

sorry however nothing fancy just davit male and female one edge of grid other on dingy hook them up and pull dingy to desired spot we are on a lake and use the grid do not wish to clog grid with the cooler with this system deck is clear and at anchor we lower dingy in the water to use the ladder.
