Hi everyone, just brought home a 2006 278. We had a three hour ride from Nokomis Fla. to South Gulf Cove,Fla and it couldn't have gone better. "Kyrulida" handled great and is everything I was hoping for in our upgrade from a 21' cuddy. Now I have a small problem. The boat didn't come with a trailer so I have no reference on how to space the bunk's on my lift? 10"x 12' bunks on a Hi-tide lift. Anyone know? Thank's in advance. Four Winn's Newbie

You likely have a similar dead rise to your old 21' cuddy. I would put the new boat on the lift and bring her slow and watch how she is sitting as the lift starts to cradle the boat.

I have setup bunks on cantilever lifts and rail systems a number of times. At the end of the day the most successful results come from trial and error.

Congrats on the new boat!

Congratulations on your purchase, and welcome to the forum.

Kyrulida is an interesting name. Is that a composite of the kids names? Kyle, Rudy, Linda and Dan or something like that?
