Nice looking 288!

Based on my calculations it will burn a shade more fuel, and be a bit faster than your last boat.

Nice boat! We have the same boat and color combo only a 2006 with 4.3 Volvo duoprops. Very happy with fuel economy, ride and comfort. Do you have any issues with the frig when run off of batteries...12 volt? I am not familiar with modifications that are made when these boats are shipped out of the states. Our frig does not run on ship's battery as the wire run from the panel(source) is too small causing a voltage drop which will not sustain the frig's voltage requirements to keep it running, from what I can gather. Enjoy your boat!

I have just replaced the house bank with 3 x 105 lifeline. I'm told the fridge is very sensitive to voltage on 12v - so will post if the fridge will run on 12v or not....
A fresh higher grade power line is a simple mod my sparky is telling me.

Wow, you went from a Beneteau 411 to a FW 288? That is a big step down in cabin space. :)
I spent some time on a Beneteau Oceanis 430 when I was younger. They are some beautiful boats.

The benny was a great boat - very easy to handle and as you say, lots of space.
Speed was on average 5.7 knots...........
