Micro is below the fridge - not easy to access the upper retaining bolts. Anyone removed the microwave in a 288 and care to give any hints? |

Yes, I removed ours in order to get the frig out last fall. As I recall, perhaps you need to remove some trim to get at it. I was removing the frig so I had to remove the microwave to get at it. As I recall, there were some bolts/adjusters on top which when screwed down, held it in place. I hope this helps. The boat is on the hard in heated rack storage 300 miles away so I'm recalling best I can from memory. Best wishes. |

Look on the top or bottom of the microwave. If i remember right there are legs that you screw down so you can remove the microwave. I can't look because mine is in storage. Had mine out because the fridge didn't cool well. Found the leather sides were covering the back of the fridge (glue failed) and thus couldn't dissipate the heat. |

Thalasso, did your frig cool properly on 12 volt power? And, do you have a 288? |
