There's plenty of good spots to mount an amp, just use your imagination!
I'm assuming it's an older A/B Class amp given it's large, so allow for adequate ventilation & don't mount it upside down.

I'm planning on installing a 4 channel amp - they are not small and I'm looking for the ideal piece of real estate...... Anyone found good solutions?? |

I installed my new one under the helm seat that is where the one from the factory was |

thanks Taddie - I assume under the co-pilots seat - the compartment with the door? That also looks like the ideal spot to mount a sub - on the side facing with walkway. How do you route the cables below deck from there?? |

Factory location is directly under the captain's seat. On boats with a factory installed amp, there is a Starboard panel installed over the opening in the front. Not sure how the wiring is routed up there, I think it comes from the gunwale, but it's been a while since I have looked on mine. |
