The online source for what you need is on the Four Winns website under your Vista model/year. No specific's
required here.

While it is a resource for maybe locating part numbers and some information about what you are looking for, you cannot buy anything from there?

Another good way to put it.... there is no singular 'place' to buy Four Winns parts. It really just depends on what you are after.

Many parts are from other manufacturers that can be purchased online from other marine outfitters. Engine parts are common as well and can be purchased from a variety of websites.

Anything specific to the Four Winns brand - cushions or trim as an example, would need to be ordered and purchased from your local dealer.

This is no different than it is for Sea Ray, Regal, Crownline, etc...

Sometimes you can find stuff on great lakes skipper. They have oem parts for lots of brands but not a full range stock. Right now there is a four winns logo on the right side but its not listed in the shop by brand section.

Other than this site I have yet to find anything other than through the dealer.

Thanks to those who responded to my post. FourWinns web site allows you to access some parts but they are all pretty generic. I see no place I can look up a specific part or its number. For example a galvanic isolator for the 2008 388. I'm also looking for a wiring schematic for the 388??
Thanks gentlemen

I wish you luck with the wiring schematics; FW at one time were very informative, with schematics in the owners manuals. Since 2007/ 8 or so they don't seem to make them available to anyone including their dealers !

Whilst delving into the wiring of my 2009 278 I came across the galvanic isolator. It's not a simple one, there are various connections to the AC power control panel. . It's made by Guest, I can get thei model number next weekend if you like.

Wiring schematic is in the back of the owners manual. You should have a printed copy, if not here is a link.

Galvanic Isolator for your '08 338 originally was a Guest 2530, now the use a 50A/GI50.

Purchase here.

Best way to use the parts site is to Google the part number, 9 out of 10 times it works.

Greetings and thank you for the information, much appreciated. I did not see wiring schematic in manual but will recheck it. Did the part number listing you attached come from the FW web site? Can't read it on post?
Thx again

It did, in the description of the part. Sorry I had to resize the screen shot and it looks like it made it very hard to read.

Thanks for the note.. do you happen to know where the galvanic isolator is located on the 388?? By the size of it I would assume it's on the transom.

Should be behind the electrical cabinet in the cabin...with all the switches. I believe that's where it is on my 318.

Thanks Firecadet....appreciate the feedback. Figures it would be located in the least accessible place.

What does that 50A refer to? the Guest one on my boat seemed to be the 30A if I remember correctly. Either way, 30 A or 50 A is a a hell of a stray current for a galvanic isolator to protect against; I thought it was usually in the mA range.

I opened your link to the owners manual; no wiring schematic as far as I could see. I remember doing the same for the 2010/ 2011, 278/285) Vista hoping to find the schematics for my 2009 one and finding the same. The manual that came with the boat covered them up to 2007.
