I am looking into re-bedding my hatch in my 1994 278 Vista. Have some water stain on the headliner around the bezel. If I need to re-bed it, what sealant should I use? Thinking 3m 4200, but it seems like that product never allow me to remove it again without destroying the hatch frame. |

4200 is the right stuff for that job. 5200 is the stuff that requires the Hulk to remove. |

I did my hatch last year and used 3M UV4000....says it can be removed; "mechanically" if needed...I guess that means with a putty knife?? Haven't had to remove it yet, but...no more leaky hatch frame!! Steve |

Thank you all for the input. How difficult was it to remove the frame? firecadet613, why did you select lifecaulk? Thanks in advance, Dan |

Very good marine caulk. The hatch doesn't need adhesive, just a sealant. |
