As I crawl around the engine compartment changing impellers and misc spring commissioning items, I was looking for the fume detector sensor on my 2008 v338 and could not locate it. I am wondering if any 338/318 owners can clue me in on the location of the sensor.

The generator, as I recall, sat on a shelf of sorts in front of the motors. The fume detector was down very low towards the keel on the inward side of the starboard stringer. Under that shelf. It was a pain to get to and was best identified using the camera and flash of a phone to search down there.

Any idea were it would be on 2006 348 with inboards?I,along with a few others have been looking for it for about a year.
