Just wanted to share this item I found. We have been having an issue with a odor when we flushed. The odd thing was the odor would come out the AC vents. Tried all the usual things and more. New filter, flushed the tank, replaced the duck bills but still had the problem. Finally I noticed a whistling sound when the unit flushed and found air leaks where the wires exit the float sensors. Dabbed caulk at those points and problem solved.
I would not have thought there would be so much airflow but the tank does pressurize when it flushes and the gas needs to go somewhere. In our case, it was the engine compartment which then passed into the AC air intake.
