I notice water in my 258 bow when it rains hard and its on the trailer. I towed it to the launch which is a very steep angle out the driveway with the plug out and the water was still there when we got to the ramp. My inside hull is not flat, there are indentations up to about 1.5 inches that I think the water gets trapped. Also, the pockets like you mentioned seem to result from the drains not being at the very bottom. A good example on mine is the two stringers the engine sits on collects water on either side. What I did was use a hand pump, a water blaster toy with a point on the end another member here gave me the idea which is a great way to suck out the little water in the bilges that the pumps do not pick up. Then I use a rag to totally dry it. Try to look everywhere or else it will mold and smell.
Not sure exactly where the sensor is on the 328 but if it is a xintex it is usually a little red round sensor very close to the bottom. Probably underneath a shelf on the starboard side.
