I am pretty sure the fuse for my ignition is located in the ships systems panel. My panel is located in the helm. It looks like your alternator is putting out a volt less than it should. |

Thanks for getting back to me. I will re check the fuse panel . On the voltage item, did check the alternator and it is putting out just over 13 volts. Loss appears to be in the battery isolator . |

A properly functioning isolator will cause a drop of approx. 0.6 volts. My alternator puts out 14.5 volts and I am sure yours should as well. I am having similar issues to you. I have stoped posting to my thread by my issue in not solved. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14179 |

I checked with my mechanic today, and his thoughts were not to worry about it based on the alternator is charging the batteries. I have had the boat for 3 years and the volt meter always read just above 13 volts. Really at this point don't know what has caused the drop of a volt at the meter. Will keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks for the link to the previous thread, very interesting suggestions to consider. |

I suggest you check what your batteries charge to after a good run. An under charged battery could result in shorter life span. Also, you could test the voltage at the back of the dash meter to see if it's even accurate. Cheers! |

Problems solved Breaker for ignition is beside the key switch, has no marking of what it is, thanks to Four Winns technical support for help on this. Voltage, issue, was a bad battery isolator, thanks,to the post on how to test it. Picked a new one up at Canadian Tire for half the price of ordering one through a marine shop. |
