| Post subject: | Atwood Water Heater |
I'm looking for tips to replace the heating element of my Atwood EHM 6-SM water heater. It looks as though the front holding bracket needs to be moved in order to access the element which doesn't appear to be that easy. Anyone have experience with this? |

There is a reset button on the Atwood Heater. I was going to replace my heating element as well, but found the reset and tried that first. It worked, so now I have a spare element. |

Check the wire harness from heater to 110 wiring. Mine was loose and I also have a spare element. |

It's not easy, but it's doable. I did this in my 268. |
