Hi Guys, can anybody tell me where to locate the fuel sending unit? My gas gauge on the dash is pegged to E and wont move......I am wondering is the ball on the float has a hole in it......worked fine all last year......

Thanks

I have a 258 so I'll guess there's a good chance it is in the same spot. If you go into the aft cabin and remove all the cushions, there should be a plate with six screws in it. Remove that plate and the sending unit should be right underneath.

I am assuming you are talking about the cabin area under the drivers seat?

Probably yes; I found such a screw down hatch on my 2009 278. The whole section covering the tank looks removeable as well. provided some cabinets are removed first.

Yes, the part of the cabin that is underneath the driver's seat. If you pull the cushions up you should see the screw down plate I'm speaking of towards the back, closer to the driver's seat.
