i think these are called the ports, right?

Anyhow anyone know how to tighten these? A couple of them won't stay up. It looked like an Allen wrench would do the trick- by tightening them- but none of mine seemed to fit.

I believe they are metric. Not sure if they are Torx or Allen wrench, but an Allen should work. I tightened a couple but don't remember the size.

I have a different question but on the same topic.

Anyone had to replace the plastic "knobs" that hold the windows closed?

The previous owner(s) completely butchered the plastic insert that is used to adjust the tightness. I can't seem to find them on the internet. I'm sure I'm not using the right term.

Thanks

You probably have the Taylor Made Sea Vue portlights like I do and it is the adjustable friction hinge that is breaking and why they won't stay up. I had the same issue with some of mine and I super glued them but they eventually broke again so I called my dealer and he ordered the hinges for me. This was about 7 years ago and who knows if you can even get them now.
