Probably a stupid question, but does the transom seat fold down on the 278? I noticed some struts under there so figured it might.

Probably a stupid question, but does the transom seat fold down on the 278? I noticed some struts under there so figured it might.

On my 2007 it does. Kind of hard to do but once folded then the seat will slide off from the guides. |

It basically folds up. It is kind of strange how it folds, and hard to explain. |

I figured it would fold up. I laid there and looked at it while drinking a couple beers, but still could figure it out.

The rear lifts up and the front pushes down. Takes two hands and some pressure to do. |
