Today was my 1st day on the water on my new 2006 Vista 288. On way back, lost a pulley on starboard engine. This causes me to shut her down. This engine also has the power steering pump. It was a bear to steer for almost 2 hrs.

Has anyone else experienced this with the pulley?

Sorry to hear the first ride ended poorly.

What pulley did you lose, the tensioner?

Lost the idler! Completely broke apart. I just replaced it myself. Actually replaced both.
