Guys,

I recently had to upgrade the speakers. I purchased the Kicker set with led lights and the kicker subwoofer. Problem I have now is that if you go above 25 on radio volume, it cuts out the woofer although I can still hear some sound out of front speakers.

I have the stock Clarion CMD4 and stock amplifier.

The Kicker KM654LCW are a 4 ohm nominal speaker, so if your old speakers were a 4 ohm speaker and nothing else changed like quantity of speakers or how they are wired, then the speakers should not be the problem.

Did you add a sub or did you swap out an existing sub? is the new KM10 the same nominal impedance as the old one?

Did you wire the LEDs to the audio circuit or route new wires for them?

Wylie,

I replaced a sub for another 4 ohm. The speakers are all 4 ohm. I only wired the Arch speakers leds. I wired them to the Courtesy lights and nav lights. I did not change the amount of speakers.

I see nothing in this swap that have caused this. Are the front speakers wired to the head unit? Trying to figure the configuration that would result in the loss of arch speakers and woofer, but the forward speakers still play. Im not familiar with the factory amp. I would pull the sub wires off the amp and test the nominal impedance (ohms) of the entire sub circuit.
