My trick has always been to try and apply pressure against the side of the head with a flat screwdriver while slowly turning the screw out. Once you can get the screwdriver under the head, apply pressure upwards while turning out and it should slowly come out. |

It is the head of the screw (allen key) that is stripped. I might have no choice but to try the screw out that Jdpber sent the link for. Anyone know if that will work on an allen key head screw? I have heard they work on phillips.... There doesnt appear to be a center nut on mine....do I take the four winns logo out and find it below that? In a word, no ! FW used both splined and keyway hubs depending on the year of manufacture. If a hub has a wheel attached with bolts, it's usually a "Momo" spacing.. Some odd ones though like a 5 bolt wheel one I bought, easily adapted though. |
